Thanksgiving Day is the festival in the United States and Canada,it was originated in more than 300 years ago,many immigrants from Europe to America. They were difficult to live with hungry and cold,and most people in the first year died of hunger in winter. The Indians helped the residents to go fishing ,hunting ,planting corn and pumpkin .
感恩节是美国加拿大独有的节日，它起源于300年前有很多人到了美国，饥寒交迫很艰难的活了下来，大部分人在头一年的冬天就饿死冻死了。剩下的人在当地原居民印第安人的帮助下，学会了钓鱼打猎和中南瓜！These people held a celebration of thanks of god in the second year of harvests ,and invited Indians to join them.This is origin of thanksgiving Day ,later president Lincoln declared the forth Thursday of every year in November as thanksgiving Day.
这些人在第二年喜庆丰收的时候，举行了庆祝上帝的活动，并且邀请印第安人一同参加。这是感恩节的由来。后来 ，美国总统林肯宣布，每年11月第四个星期四为感恩节。Thanksgiving day is most important festivals in American.It is one of the most closely connected to the early history of the country.This year is falls on November 24th.people usually sent the day with family .People like to watch football match on TV,or play football in the park.The dinner of the thanksgiving day is totally a feast.Because it is day to celebrate and giving thanks to the blessing to the harvest.IA roast turkey is essential.It is unusual to stuffed the bread and a vegetable.Absorb the tasty juices ,Turkey is a traditional main course.So thanks giving Day can called turkey day.Of course there are many delicious dishes celebrate to this festival,such as sweet potato and pumpkin pie.
